CHEN Meian is Senior Program Director/Senior Analyst at Institute at The Institute for Global Decarbonization Progress (iGDP), a non-profit think tank focusing on green and low-carbon development for iGDP.  

Wenjia Fan is Sustainable Project Lead at Lever China, a Shanghai-based consultancy that partners with leading companies to improve their food sourcing practices and build more humane, safe, and sustainable supply chains. 

Jennifer L. Turner is a DKU visiting faculty and a non-resident fellow at the DC-based Stimson Center, a leading foreign affairs think tank promoting international security and shared prosperity through applied research and global engagement.

As temperatures rise, China has also been increasing it policies, pilots, and clean energy investments to meet the countries 2030 carbon cap and 2060 carbon neutrality goals. Nongovernmental organizations have also been playing a role to inform climate policies and action in China. Come join us to hear stories from three women working in the think tank, NGO, and consultancy spaces and learn about the unique niche such groups play to in engaging broad audiences with climate policy, pilots, and studies. They also will discuss what it is like to find jobs in this space and take YOUR questions!
