If you are curious about sign language, interested in inclusive communication, or simply want to learn something meaningful and new, join us every Friday morning for this structured, long-term course designed for serious learners, supported by REACH, 老A讲堂, the Center for the Study of Contemporary China, and the Language and Culture Center.

Please note: Registration for this course is now full. However, interested participants are welcome to attend individual sessions on a drop-in basis. Drop-in participants are not eligible for the completion certificate.

What You Will Learn

  • Understand the structure and unique features of sign language
  • Master finger spelling (32 signs)
  • Learn everyday phrases, 240 vocabulary items, and 30 sentences
  • Build professional non-verbal communication skills through sustained practice
