Lu Yang, a Shanghai-based economist at Shui On Land with expertise in business and political risk in China, will be giving DKU students an insider’s look at the world of geopolitics consulting. He will also advise students on how to prepare for and find jobs in this dynamic industry.
Speaker Biography
Lu Yang is a Shanghai-based economist at a Hong Kong real estate company. Prior to his current role, Mr. Lu worked for several years in the political risk consulting sector. He served as a consultant at APCO Worldwide, advising on critical economic and political issues related to the China operations of major multinational corporations. He also worked as a political risk analyst in the China practice of the Eurasia Group in Washington, D.C. His expertise is in the intersection of business and political risk in China. Lu Yang holds a master’s degree in international public policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C.
