The Center for the Study of Contemporary China (CSCC) is now accepting proposals for Spring 2026! We warmly invite faculty members to apply for funding and to encourage your students to submit proposals by Tuesday, 24 February 2026 midnight China time. Through these grants, CSCC supports DKU faculty and students in pursuing research, creative inquiry, and collaborative projects that deepen our understanding of contemporary China.

Available Grants

• CSCC Faculty-Student Collaborative Project Grant (Max. 2,000 USD)
• CSCC Student-Initiated Research and Creative Inquiry Grant (Max. 500 USD)

Submission Deadline: Tuesday, 24 February 2026 midnight China time

*This is a strict deadline. Late applications will not be considered.

Award Notification Date: Within six weeks

*Please note that this is the only deadline for the two grants in Academic Year 25/26.
