Come and watch teams from DKU, NYU, XJTLU, and UNNC present their oral arguments on a rapidly advancing and uncertain question:
Is it permissible to use copyrighted materials to train generative AI models? And can you hold AI companies liable if their products generate outputs that infringe on the copyright of another company’s intellectual property?
No matter if you want to spend all day with us, or come for just one trial, you are invited! DKU Pre-Law has designed an extremely interesting and relevant case concerning AI and copyright, modeled after current lawsuits between international players (scan the QR code to see for yourself) and with no clear answer on the horizon, this is your chance and engage in the intellectual pursuit of finding novel solutions to emerging problems.
Whether you are into policy, computer science, data science, law, philosophy, debate, or machine learning: there is a place for you at this event, and we hope to see you there!
